June

So cute!Howdy Folks. I'm sorry it's so late for the letter this month, but planting has me tied up. The gardens are growing. All the nannys were successful at birthing. The piglets did well and I will be re-breding one sow for a fall litter for sale.

The Ashe County Farmers Market is growing and has been a wonderful outlet for my farm. However, in peak production season, I will be announcing Farm Store days when you can come by appointment to select vegetables and shiitakes straight from the garden! I will pick for you to limit the traffic in the garden and minimize any fungal transfer.
PIGGY!
I am staying sold out on eggs, and am looking for some affordable laying hens to add to my flock. I do have 24 muscovy ducks hatched and doing well that will be for sale later in the summer. A special thank you to all the new readers of the newsletter!

I will be announcing soon the farm tour that will occur some time in July after the 4th. Stay tuned!

Eat well, stay healthy!
