May Newsletter

Howdy Folks,

May has been a busy month thus far at the farm. I apologize for the newletter not being out sooner. We are growing by leaps and bounds.

On Mothers' Day we were blessed with the birth of our first 100% nubian nanny! She is spunky and doing fine. The greenhouse herbs are taking off will be available at the Ashe County Farmer's Market this Saturday. As usual we have organic eggs and heirloom seeds from my collection.

May also brought baby chics by the dozen. We hatched several blue egg layers and Rhode Island Reds. We added three Yorkshire sows to the collection of critters. Here in the High Country we are just now planting the first of our gardens, which allows us to offer vegetables later in the fall, when the more southern gardens are gone.

We hope to see you all at the Market.
